This is really cute ! I like how you used different fabric/patterns but all in the same tones, it gives a really nice effect :) And the ribbon is a really good touch :)

As per usual, I'm in awe in front of your work! So neat, so well finished! So CUTE!!!!!!

I have so much progress to make.......

I hope that one day I'll catch up to you!

Question: How do you get such neat lines for the fabric that you use as toping? Doesn't this kind of fabric fray? The yellow polkadot one....

Hi ChouchettePeluchette ! To prevent it from fraying I prep the fabric raw edges with Elmer's Glue mixed with a bit of water ( A much more afordable and cheaper than those branded products), then I cut the fabric. Make sure the glue mixture is not thick otherwise you wont be able to pierce the needle through the fabric! A nice thin mixture will do.

THANK YOU! So much for this great tip!

This is going to be tricky for me to get, In France, Elmer's brand does not exist! I hope the glue that I have for felt and fabric will do.... I definitly have to try this!

Just one thing though, when you wash the keychains, doesn't the glue come off? What then?

Thanks again for sharing your experience!

Elmer's Glue is quite strong.. i've washed my fabrics with glue and it never came off. It depends on what glue your using.

Thanks, I'll either have to find an equivalent here in France or order some Elmer glue online..... Hope I can find some in the UK. It is way too expensive having stuff come from the US.....

Thanks again for al your king help!

Can't wait to see what you are going to create next!
